Technology
Three proven technologies, used in a new way: without a handpiece.
AdipoXtrem does not claim to have invented cavitation, radiofrequency or LED. It brings them together in one session and delivers them through applicators that stay in place, driven from a programmable console.
At a glance
What the device does, in one minute.
| Technology | Parameters (manufacturer data) | Typical aesthetic purpose | Learn more |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ultrasound cavitation | 30 kHz and 40 kHz | Subcutaneous fat and body shape (often called “lipocavitation”) | Cavitation |
| Radiofrequency | 1 MHz, 2 MHz and 3 MHz | Controlled tissue heating for skin firmness and texture | Radiofrequency |
| LED | 1,379 LEDs · 635 nm (red) and 980 nm (infrared) | Photobiomodulation: low-intensity light absorbed by skin cells | LED |
| Hands-free system | 10 applicators | Several areas per session, without continuous handpiece movement | The system |
Frequencies, wavelengths and quantities come from the manufacturer's documentation. The purposes listed reflect common aesthetic uses of these technologies, discussed with their limitations on each dedicated page.
Ultrasound with fixed applicators
Cavitation without manual sweeping.
With conventional cavitation, the therapist moves an emitting head over the skin for the entire treatment. On AdipoXtrem, ultrasound is emitted by applicators held on the area — what the product documentation calls “stationary ultrasound”. Two frequencies are available: 30 kHz and 40 kHz.
A note on terminology. On this website, “stationary” means the applicator does not move during emission. It does not refer to the physical phenomenon of a “standing wave”.
One session, three technologies
Set each technology within the same appointment.
On the session screen, each technology has its own intensity and duration. The example shown uses the display of the “Orange-peel skin — Watery” programme: ultrasound for 20 minutes, radiofrequency for 15 minutes and LED throughout the session.
A session lasts 30 to 35 minutes depending on the programme.
Programmes
12 preset programmes and a manual mode.
The interface guides protocol selection by goal, then by the profile of the area. Two logics structure the main programmes.

By cellulite type
The “orange-peel skin” programme has three settings: watery, adipose and fibrous — categories commonly used in salons to guide parameter choice.
By skinfold thickness
The “localised slimming” programme offers three levels: thin (under 2 cm), medium (2–4 cm) and thick (over 4 cm), measured before the session.
The interface is currently displayed in French. The full list of programmes, their parameters and indications is provided in the professional documentation during training.
